
Born in Surrey, UK. Michael initially trained with the internationally acclaimed School of Hairdressing, Steiners of London. Upon completion of his certificate, having been awarded their Gold medal for colour, he worked on the cruise liner QEII on it's Southampton-New York run.
After some years in London working with salons such as Toni & Guy and, Harper's, he moved to the South of France. After completing his French Hairdressing Certificate Michael continued to run a French salon for a further 6 years. Whilst in France he won the coveted L'Oreal Silver Award in 1991 for colour; the first non-Frenchman to do so.
Michael moved to Australia in 1993 and opened his first salon at Murdoch University in 1995. In June 2002 he won a Silver Cup and runner up medals at the State Hairdressing Awards. He is now Chairman of the International Hairdressing Society and a member of the Master Ladies Hairdressers. Now situated close to Perth in the vibrant cosmopolitan locale of Mt Lawley, Headturners continues to grow from strength to strength. You can feel secure that you are in the hands of an internationally trained hairstylist with over 30 years experience.

Robyn is the newest member of the Headturners team, with a real passion to learn the hair business.
Robyn is currently serving apprenticeship at the Western Australian Academy, and recently won 1st 2nd and 3rd place in the International Hairstylists Association of Australia sponsored cat walk competition.
Robyn comes to us with a great deal of experience in hospitality and customer service.
Ultimately she would like to own her own salon, teach, travel and gain experience working overseas.
West Australian born Robyn loves the beach and spending time with her friends, she has a refreshing exuberance and motivation for whatever she does we are happy to have her onboard.
